Safety & Environmental Impact

Safety

Alroy Drilling’s primary focus is the safety of our employees and clients.  While the drilling industry is regulated by Cal-OSHA for safety, many dangers still exist for the careless employee or unknowledgeable client.  Alroy prides itself on our knowledgeable and conscientious employees, including our drillers who are always mindful of the safety of their helpers and clients on the job site.  Our employees wear required hardhats and boots on the job in accordance with Cal-OSHA standards, and we require anyone entering a boring to adhere to the regulations designed for their safety.  We have provided links below for further information on safety regulations impacting our industry.

Environmental Impact

In today’s society of environmental consciousness, Alroy Drilling Services is cognizant of our industry’s impact on the environment and how critical adherence to the latest regulations is to successful operations.  Alroy has in the past been proactive in working with the South Coast Air Quality Management District (AQMD) to bring our equipment up to date on the latest emissions requirements for southern California.

In addition, Alroy’s employees are conscientious of our impacts to job sites, particularly those in pre-development condition.  Alroy Drilling takes pride in working with the biologists and other agencies on project sites to minimize our impact to native habitats and potential open space areas.  In many cases, our goal is to leave the drilling locations with as little impact as possible, as if we were never there.
